Meet the CEO

My name is Kelsey Thomas & I am the owner/ creator of Khomela. I created Khomela in the midst of my college career at Sam Houston State University after my late grandmother Chomel, passed away suddenly in 2017. Since a kid, I have always designed clothes. It has been a way to express myself when words don't seem to do enough. I spent the last 3 years after post grad in Atlanta, Ga where I stepped more into my purpose in the fashion world. Since being there, I have participated in multiple fashion shows, one of them being my very own show with attendees from all over the country. I was also selected to be apart of NYFW and was featured in the ATL magazine. I have since then moved to Houston to work on something much larger than before. Being a designer is one of my childhood dreams that I am blessed to live in everyday.

    The company was created in memory of the late fashionable Chomel Thomas. We also are allowed to express ourselves with the uniqueness of our designs with our bold, loud and exagerated pieces.
